The eighth edition of the Infodefensa Forum was held yesterday, Thursday 26 January. It brought together in the Congress of Deputies representatives of the two main parties, PP and PSOE, industry, the Administration, with the participation of the Ministries of Defence, Finance and Foreign Affairs, and the University.
The meeting was entitled “The Future of Defence in Spain”. and addressed issues such as the roadmap for increasing the defence budget, the role of Spanish industry in the Europe of Defence and the changes that companies will have to face in order to improve their competitiveness, and the need for long-term policies in the field of defence. Current issues such as the war in Ukraine and the repercussions of the conflict on the policies of European countries such as Spain were also discussed. All of this was developed through three round table discussions.
